Event with Color Therapy Co: October 24th topic Grief
Since our October gathering will be the last event of 2026 we wanted to make it extra special. We are going to be collaborating with artist Taylor Davis for an evening exploring grief through conversation and color. Alongside our typical conversation flow discussing grief, guests will be guided through a color therapy painting experience and will leave with two original paintings created during the evening. This event includes all art materials, small bites, wine, and the guided workshop.
It is important to us that these events feel accessible so we are offering a sliding scale pricing for this event. Please pay what you can.
Meet Taylor Davis
Hi! I’m Taylor, an artist and facilitator based in Southern California. I teach art through the lenses of inner child work and color therapy, creating spaces where people can reconnect with themselves through creativity rather than performance.
Painting became the first place I remember experiencing embodied joy. It taught me that mistakes can become serendipitous, that resilience is something we practice rather than achieve, and that grief and delight can exist side by side. Art became both a mirror and a map—a way of navigating life with more curiosity, honesty, and freedom.
Today, that experience shapes everything I teach. I don’t believe creativity is reserved for “artists”; I believe it’s one of the ways we return to ourselves. My classes are less about making perfect art and more about making room for wonder, emotional honesty, and playful exploration.
Participants can expect an encouraging, grounded, and refreshing environment where curiosity is valued over perfection. Together, we’ll practice listening inward, embracing imperfection, and discovering that healing can include laughter, beauty, and delight.
